Business data and privacy

How Carbon X handles your business data and information used by its browser extension.

Chrome extension: product research and listing imports

The Carbon X extension reads product information from supported Meesho pages, including product identifiers, titles, images, prices, ratings, reviews and other visible marketplace signals. Research requests and listing imports send the information needed for the requested feature to Carbon X. Product research results and working data may also be stored locally in your browser.

Your Carbon X account

When you sign in to the Carbon X website, the extension receives your Carbon X session token and workspace identifier from that website. It uses them to authorize requests to Carbon X. Signing out of the website clears the extension's copied account credentials when the website is active or next becomes active. Do not share your browser profile with someone who should not have access to your account.

Optional desktop connector connection

Connecting an existing Meesho login requires your explicit agreement in the extension and Chrome cookie permission. That action reads Meesho cookies and browser session storage and sends them to the Carbon X desktop connector running on the same computer. The connector validates the seller session against its paired account. This lets the connector use your existing seller login; it does not ask you to type your Meesho password into the extension.

Permissions and your choices

The extension uses access to supported marketplace pages to read product information and perform requested interactions, browser storage for account authorization and working data, and debugging access for supported marketplace page interactions. You can remove optional cookie access in extension settings or remove the extension in Chrome. Removing the extension does not disconnect a desktop connector that was already paired; manage that connection separately in Carbon X.

Questions or account closure

Contact support@carbonx-ai.com for privacy questions or account-closure requests. The published account and business-data terms below also apply to Carbon X services.

Published terms · 2026-10-11. Read the complete agreement.

4. Business data and privacy

You retain your rights in the information and content you provide. You authorize Carbon X to process it as necessary to deliver the tools you request, provide support, maintain security and meet legal obligations. You must have the authority to provide that information, including personal data contained in seller records.

We process account and contact details, authorized marketplace records, product content, payment and subscription records, and technical or security logs to provide the service, support users and protect accounts. We may use service providers for hosting, communications, payments and AI processing as needed for the feature you request. These terms do not authorize unrelated marketing, public disclosure of private seller data or unrestricted AI training. Requests concerning access, correction, export, withdrawal of consent or deletion may be sent to support@carbonx-ai.com. We will verify authority before acting and apply any legally required retention or restrictions. Separate consent will be requested where required.

10. Ending use and account closure

You may stop using the service and request account closure through the published support channel. Closing Carbon X does not close a marketplace account. Cancellation, paid access and refunds follow the approved payment policy and applicable law.

Standard report and business-data exports are available only while your membership remains active, including the remainder of an already paid period after renewal cancellation. Request and download these exports before membership expires. After requesting account closure, you have 30 days to request an export while your membership remains active. This membership restriction does not apply to requests we must fulfil under applicable data-protection law, or remove export commitments already accepted under an earlier version of these terms. We will delete active account data within the following 30 days, subject to lawful retention obligations. Residual backup copies will expire within 90 days after active deletion and will not be used for ordinary business processing. Records required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, legal claims or other legal obligations will be retained separately for the applicable period, with restricted access. Account closure does not remove obligations or rights that accrued beforehand.

11. Complaints and disputes

For support, refund, privacy or grievance requests, contact Gurjas Singh, Director, at support@carbonx-ai.com or the operator address above. Include sufficient account information to identify your request, but do not send passwords, OTPs or payment credentials. We will acknowledge and handle complaints within applicable legal timelines.

Indian law governs this agreement. Disputes may be brought before the courts, consumer commissions, regulators or other forums with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing here restricts a mandatory right to a particular forum or remedy.
